I have been part of HLP’s pleasant and busy team since December 2005. Before that, I worked at AS Helmes for 8 years. The IT bug first bit me at the University of Tartu, where I spent four years studying Applied Mathematics. HLP has helped me to apply my skills and knowledge in taking on the real challenge of making our lives better through improved IT solutions.
During a 20-year computer and IT career, I have dealt with a huge variety of issues: from basic computer training to the development and implementation of complicated server solutions. I personally find my most valuable experience to be the management of IT services and development projects in very different companies.
In managing the area of IT, one can only benefit from long-term experience with Microsoft Server applications and HP-Compaq servers. I have undertaken many additional training courses and passed exams, including CISA, MCSA, MCSE, and MCP.
Although at times it feels my work is becoming my hobby, and vice versa, I am also fond of all kinds of sports – both getting actively involved as well as enjoying it from the couch. The best for torturing both the body and the mind are skiing, football and athletics.
As far as my personality is concerned, I am calm and optimistic. I value trust above all – without it no relationship, personal or business, would be possible. My technical knowledge is best implemented through my excellent analytical skills.
My wife is Kaie and we have three wonderful children – Kadi, Grete and Hans-Kristjan – and two even more wonderful grandchildren – Markus and Joko-Liise.Curriculum vitae
